AFC Newbury Boys and Girls Football Club was formed in 1996 from the resources of Shaw Boys and Belles (established 1972), Wickham under 16 Youth Team and Ecchinswell Football Club (founded in 1906). From season 2007-8 Newbury Girls Football is part of the Newbury Ladies and Girls Football Club.
